Some youths have condemned the dumping of refuse at junctions and roadsides in Lagos Mainland Local Government and environs.
They have urged the residents to desist from dumping refuse indiscriminately as it is unhealthy and unethical.
They also appealed to the Executive Chairman of Lagos Mainland LG to enhance the clean-up of environment before it becomes an environmental and health hazard.
“We are using this medium to humbly appeal to the council boss, Hon. Essien and the Supervisor for Environment, to intervene with immediate deployment of waste compactors to evacuate the waste backlogs.
“Yaba LCDA is doing a great job to make sure we have a cleaner environment, thanks to the Chairman and Supervisor for Environment.
We are appealing to the appropriate authorities for the environment in Mainland to do the needful.”
