Okada Ban: Lagos Police map out strategies for enforcement

The Lagos State Police Command has reiterated that the June 1, 2022, enforcement of Okada ban in some LGAs in the state will be total.

This information was relayed by the Lagos PPRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, on Monday, May 30, 2022, via Twitter where he tweeted;
“Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, fdc meets with Area Commanders, Squadron Commanders and Tactical Commanders at the Police Headquarters, Ikeja today Monday, May 30, 2022.

“Enforcement will be total. Every resistance will be strongly quelled in accordance with the law.”

The Lagos Police Spokesperson also reiterated that all law enforcement agents have been trained to work within the confines of the law although a police officer about to be attacked is compelled to defend himself as they are not prepared to lose anyone.
