The Mainland Local Government led by Mrs. Omololu Essien, worried by the continuous cultist attacks in the local government, has intensified efforts to put an end to the happenings.
During the recent security meeting of the local government, the Executive Chairperson of the local government, Mrs. Omololu; “Given the encouraging partnership and support of the well-meaning citizens and corporate organizations, we are on course to make our local government a safe haven only for law-abiding citizens.”
She continued that; “Law enforcement officers are never off duty, they are dedicated public servants, who are sworn to protect the public at any time and any place to curb any form of crime.”
In addition, the council management discussed various plans to avert this recent spike in cultist attacks and crime in some parts of local government.
