In tandem with his promise that optimal productivity must be achieved, the Executive Chairman of Yaba LCDA, Hon. (Dr.) Kayode Adejare Omiyale handed over revenue vehicles to revenue officers as tools for easier mobility.
In the process of handing over he said, “With this, I believe we can do better to increase our internally generated revenue. This will help in this period of dwindling allocation from the federal government.
“We will not relent in providing tools and machinery to achieve desired results. Over the years, even without revenue buses you gave your best. This is to enhance your mobility to perform wonderfully well.
Subsequently, as part of his agenda to better the life of the people in the riverine areas in Yaba LCDA, Segodo, Mawutin and Asiribo in Makoko were also empowered with Canoes.
However, one of the chiefs in Makoko, Chief Yussuf Seargu, the Alago of Ago Iwaya, appreciated the kind gesture and prayed for more blessings.
The Head of Administration in Yaba LCDA, Mr. Lai Giwa also commended his stewardship and promised his support to achieve desired result.
