Yaba LCDA Celebrates Women on 2021 International Women’s Day

The Executive Chairman of Yaba LCDA, Hon. Kayode Adejare Omiyale and his wife and First Lady of Yaba LCDA, Mrs. Rachael Oluwakemi Omiyale felicitates with Lagos women particularly Yaba women on this year’s occasion of International Women’s Day celebrations.

She enjoined women to build their homes because of the stability of the society and the future of their children.

She said this ahead of the 2021 International Women’s Day Celebration occasion themed “An Equal World is an Enabled World”.

The event is scheduled to hold March 9 at the Nigerian Police College Playing Ground in Ikeja GRA.

In the same vein, the Executive Chairman of Lagos Mainland Local, Hon. (Mrs.) Omolola Essien, lauded women across the globe, who are excelling in their various chosen careers.

She said, “The theme for this year is ‘Choose to Challenge’. The objectives of the International Women’s Day are: (1) to celebrate the struggle for women’s rights in the economic, social, political, and cultural domain; (2) to reaffirm women’s solidarity in the struggle for peace; (3) and to show what women have achieved.

“International Women’s Day is a day women across the globe are recognized and celebrated in their fields. Women have a fierce and robust spirit, which makes them excel in their respective areas. They deserve all the love and support that the world gives them on this day. The contribution of women in every sphere of life is massive. They contribute to the lives of their family members as well as the country.
