What is your name and where do you live in Yaba?

My name is Emmanuel. I live in Akoka, Yaba.

What changes would you like to see in your area?

I would love to see a lot of changes, beginning with the road. It would be good for us all if the government should get the Akoka Road fixed; it is highly riddled with potholes. There is a high rate of robbery and assault around my area. We need a well-equipped security structure in Akoka to tackle these assaults.

What’s your favourite place to have fun in Yaba?

The whole place is just fun, except for the ‘area boys’ palaver.

What three things in life are you most grateful to have?

I’m grateful for life. There may be little or no money but with life, everything is achievable. I’m also grateful for the gift of family, and everything.

If you could learn any new skill, what would it be?

I would love to learn Cinematography. I love the processes involved in film-making and I am passionate about it.

It is hard to choose from any of these. I love using every one of the social media platforms – sometimes, they serve different purposes.
