NURTW Lagos boss, MC Oluomo wrote a book! But as surprising as that was, it is the book’s title My Service to Humanity that raised controversy among social media users.
The current Chairman of the Lagos chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya is best known for the thuggish and brutish nature of the organization he heads. Oluomo is basically the Kingpin of agberos in the state.
To many people, that sums up his “service to humanity” and the book is only a means to remedy his negative publicity while he tries to fulfil a governorship ambition many people believe he nurses.
However, while some people felt there was no ulterior motive behind the book, others simply offered comic relief via funny tweets.
A Twitter user wrote, “The book by MC Oluomo could be the first step in washing his image in preparation for a political post. I honestly hate the fact that I’m giving this a thought, but this is Nigeria where everything is possible, if you have bastarrrd (sic)money, strong godfather & a powerful PR team.”
Another wrote, “Is (sic)only in Nigeria that everybody wants to be a mentor, either good or bad. Imagine mc Oluomo writing a book.”
“I see nothing wrong in Mc Oluomo writing a book but the tittle lmfaooooooooooo.”
