Omiyale distributes free GCE forms to indigent students

One hundred General Certificate Examination (GCE) Forms were presented today by the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Dr) Kayode Adejare Omiyale ably represented by Hon. Alade Grillo to indigenous students of Yaba LCDA at the Sen. Oluremi Tinubu hall in the Local Council Secretariat.

While presenting the forms, Hon. Alade Grillo representing the Executive Chairman implored the students to be good ambassadors of their various homes, to face their studies squarely and pass with flying colors. He reiterated that those that are able to attain good grades during the examination will be given free JAMB forms so as to pursue their education further.

Also in attendance are officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, officer Mustapha Abike and officer Odeh Robert.

Speaking at the program, officer Mustapha Abike spoke on the core mandate of the NSCDC during examination, that the Corps is out to protect the students while they are writing the exams and that they are not out to arrest any students unless those that are caught cheating during examination.

Present at the program were the Chief of Staff, Hon. Lanre Ilori, Hon. Shakirudeen Farayola, members of the Council Legislative, the Human Resources Officer, Mr. Fashina Temidayo, HOD Education, Mrs. Akinlolu lretiola, HOD Budget, Mr. Ismail Ogunbambi, Mr. Abdul Rahmon Alimi, Procurement Officer, Mr. Tijani Ahmed, Head of ICT Unit, amongst others.
