In tandem with the quarterly tradition at the Yaba LCDA, this year’s first quarter inter-departmental game was rounded up on the 30th March, 2022.
The games were created with the hope of promoting physical fitness and enhance mental alertness in employees. Officers passionately participated in various competitive games such as scrabble, table tennis, ludo, draught and ayo.
The acme point of the event was the last set of the Table Tennis game which had the players sweating and in rapt attention, the audience were also on the edge of their seats. It was an interesting game to watch.
Mr. Ayodele Joseph emerged as the winner. Mr. Ismail Ogunbambi won a gold medal in the game of scrabble. Mr. Tope Ogundeye from the department of Environmental Services won at the game of ayo opon. Mr. Alayinla Saheed emerged winner in the draught game, while Mrs. Komolafe from Works Department won at the games of Ludo.
In attendance were the Human Resources Officer, Mr. Babalola Femi, HOD Budget Mr. Ogunbambi Ismail, Council Auditor Mrs. Okoya Alaran Omolara, Public Affairs Director Mr. Kehinde Daniels and the HOD Agric Mr. James Akowanu.
