Nigerian movie veteran Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe, is reportedly dead. This was announced by Adesola, his son, on Monday, November 22, 2021.
Born on the 22nd of August, 1958, on Inabere Street in Lagos Island where he grew up, he hails from the Ikorodu area of Lagos.
Baba Suwe started his acting career in 1971. He became famous after he featured in a movie titled Omolasan.
He is also well known for featuring in Iru Esin, produced by Olaiya Igwe in 1997.
Baba Suwe appeared in, and produced, several Nigerian movies including the popular Baba Jaiye Jaiye.

Baba Suwe was 63 years old.
