…Honours outstanding members
Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) of Yaba LCDA, has celebrated 2021 Lagos State NULGE Week and Welfare Day and also presented awards to some outstanding members.
The Chairman of Yaba LCDA, Hon. (Dr.) Kayode Adejare Omiyale appreciated God’s love and kindness, noted that NULGE Welfare Day serves as a great re-union to all Nigerians. “It is a day in which the union gives back to its members for effective service in the Local Government system.
He commended the state government for giving workers the enabling environment, including prompt payment of salaries as when due, and also the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission.
The NULGE leader of Yaba LCDA, while presenting his address, thanked all and sundry for their contributions towards the success of the event. He said that it is a thing of joy that NULGE Anambra State celebrated together again.
The Vice Chairman, Hon. Bola Aileru gave the vote of thanks.
Present at the event were the Chairman, Hon. Omiyale, Vice Chairman Hon. Bolanle Aileru, House Leader Solomon Gbinigie, Council Manager Mr. Lai Giwa, and others.
