Nigeria@61: Omiyale restates commitment to the people

Says “Government will continue to operate an open-door policy to accommodate people-friendly strategies.”

“Oh God of Creation, Direct Our Noble Cause.”

Happy Independence Nigerians. God’s hand is visible in Nigeria and we have cause to be thankful to God for His steadfast love on this Nation.

Some years back might have been very undesirous, but we still survive and are very optimistic for better days in nearest future.

Events unfolded in our country and have not affected our political unity, had made some other countries engage in wars and disintegrated (Sudan, Somalia, etc). But this is not our lot as God still keep us together for purpose best known to Him.

The whole world experienced Covid-19 pandemic in phases which brought every sector to a standstill for days. Nigeria, not exempted, we survived and continue as a Nation. Insecurity, terrorism, kidnapping and banditry may be on the rise, they are not insurmountable with God and human efforts put together.

Governance is all about people and this has been our Administration’s watchword ab initio. We are leaving no stones unturned to ensure everyone feels the impact; we have doubled our efforts to achieving our set agenda and ensure Yaba LCDA is taken to the zenith.

We are committed to discharging our duties in tandem with responsibility of this tier, which is created for grassroot development, being the closest Government to the people.

This Government will continue to operate an open-door policy to accommodate people-friendly strategies.

In all, I want to appreciate every member of Yaba LCDA, the Executive, Legislative, Management, members of staff, people across tribes, and our monarchs for their immense support for this Government.

Yaba LCDA is on the way to the Zenith.

Long Live Yaba LCDA,

Long Live Lagos State,

Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Signed:

Hon. (Dr) Kayode Adejare Omiyale

Executive Chairman, Yaba LCDA.
