Executive Chairman of Yaba LCDA, Hon. (Dr.) Kayode Adejare Omiyale visited the remodelled Sabo market to inspect work done and completed at the first phase which is already in use to fulfill his promise during the market Leaders and other stakeholders meeting.
“Nobody among shop owners will be denied his/her slot, the market will be built in phases in order to ensure that trading activity is not halted and our people will not be annihilated or hampered in their businesses”.
The second phase is ongoing and the mayor inspected the project and told the contractor to ensure the project is completed at the agreed period.
He was welcomed by the Market Leader Mrs. Omoshalewa who appreciated the kind gesture meted out towards them and promised to take the market as their own project.
Among chairman’s entourage were the Vice Chairman Hon. Bolanle Aileru, Head of Administration Otunba Lai Giwa, Head of Environmental Department Sanitarian Omotara Afolabi, Head, Information Unit Mr. Kehinde Daniels and others.
