To encourage academic excellence and boost literacy level amongst youths, the leadership of Yaba Local Council Development Area distributed JAMB forms to over 100 youths.
During the exercise, the Council Manager, Mr Lai Giwa representing the Executive Chairman of Yaba LCDA, Hon (Dr.) Kayode Adejare Omiyale said the initiative is aimed at enhancing literacy and supporting youth progress in the society. He advised students to shun thuggery, cultism and focus on their studies.
The students appreciated the kind gesture and promised to study hard and come out in flying colours.
Present at the event is the Head of Education Department, Mrs. Akinlolu I. A., the Supervisor for Education Mr. Rashid Jinad, the Council Treasurer Mr. Jimoh Balogun, Council Engineer Engr Seyin Godwin, amongst others.
