It is a celebration galore for Kayode Adegbite, a former resident of Yaba city as he recently achieved academic and career success in style following his recent double successes.
Kayode Adegbite who recently rounded off his master’s programme has just landed a new role at social media giant – Facebook.
He shared the news on Twitter with a snap of the appointment email. He will be joining Facebook, in two weeks as a T-Program Manager.
He tweeted: “I’m happy to share these two announcements: – I finished my MSc degree with an outstanding result. – I will be joining @Facebook as a T-Program Manager in two weeks. Yaba to Silicon-Valley Rocket. God did it.”
The Nigeria-born Babcock University graduate, who later had a supreme 4.0/4.0 distinction in his master’s programme from America has been appointed by Facebook as a product manager.
Kayode Adegbite who grew up in Yaba, got free scholarship to study in Florida through the assistantship route.
Nigerians flooded his comment section with well wishes as they joined in his celebration.
