The Executive Chairman, Yaba LCDA, Hon. (Dr.) Kayode Adejare Omiyale has publicly shown his appreciation to all workers within and outside of the Yaba LCDA for their immense contribution to the economic development of Yaba.
He expressed his appreciation in a statement titled “Civil Servants are Lubricants to Good Governance”, on social media on Workers’ Day.
In his message he stressed the importance of civil servants and workers in actualisation of government promises, plans, programmes and projects especially at the grassroot which is the primary function of the Local Government and Local Council Development Areas.
He enjoined members of staff to be proactive in the discharge of their duties and responsibilities. He emphasised on team work to achieve desired goals in shorter time than expected. He also promised to see to better welfare and improvement of work conditions for the entire workforce.
In line with Chairman’s message the Head of Administration Mr. Layiwola Giwa also encouraged and charged members of staff to be alive to their duties, dedicated and efficient in various assigned responsibilities.
