The Council Chairman, Lagos Mainland Local Government, Hon Mrs. Omolola Essien, yesterday, rewarded senior citizens of the Lagos Mainland with cash gifts.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Toheed Dada, the cash gifts were giving to the aged, elderly, widows, widowers and people living with disability who are residents of Lagos Mainland Local Government Areas.
The cash gifts were distributed to senior citizens across the local government’s nine wards.
However, Council Chairman, Mrs. Omolola Essien pledged her commitment to monthly reimbursement of senior citizens across the local government.
She also thanked them for their prayers and supports towards her administration.
