The remains of Oreoluwa Aina, a Youth Corps member who died in the ill-fated crash involving a BRT and a train in Lagos, have been buried.

Aina was among the six people who died in the crash on Thursday at PWD, Ikeja area of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

The 28-year-old corps member was serving with the Lagos State Ministry of Education until her death and would have passed out in June 2023.

Aina’s remains were laid to rest at the Atan Cemetery on Saturday.

There were tears and wailing as her remains were committed to mother earth. Some youth corps members were present at the event.

The coffin conveying her remains was carried by corps members, The coffin was decorated in the colour of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
